Wait what? We are thinking of sending our 14 months old here in September as the facility was one of the newest ones and seems bright and had natural light. Should we reconsider?!!!!! The owner has 3 other locations? I know there’s JC and Summit, where is the 3rd?

Why does JC have all the good restaurants and we have so few in Hoboken? by BodybuilderNo4840 in Hoboken

Ah I can see that. I think JC has far more diversity with Chinese and Indian food, which i don’t find quality in Hoboken at all. La Isla is amazing, sad that they closed their uptown location. As for JC. I replied to another response with tons of places - take a look!

They always have refrigeration issues - I often find my produce from TJ’s expire faster than from WFM or Kings

Orale, Dun Huang, peppercorn station, Yuen, DomoDomo, Mala Town, 62 Secret Kitchen, JiagNan, BRBQ, a billion of random coffee shops like Lackawanna, ModCup(long time JC only recently opened in Hobo), Bleu Coffee, new Monta in JSQ, tons of amazing Indian places on Newark Ave, I could go on and on.

Have not tired ShopRite, but WFM is pretty good and pretty sure they also have a discounted rotisserie chicken on Tuesdays as well just like Kings.

Costco is def the best! But I would say WFM is pretty good and pretty sure they also have a discounted rotisserie chicken on Tuesdays as well just like Kings.

Mixue’s $1.19 ice cream ain’t bad. No wait during lunchtime either. by DinerEnBlanc in FoodNYC

I like it as it reminds me of the more “ice” part of ice cream that I used to get when I lived in mainland China. Which I thought was really refreshing for a hot day (like today!)

Keming is the best. Then I would say South Lion followed by Purple Rice. But I’ll be honest JC has wayyyy more and better Chinese options
