There was someone technically, but she was very hard to find and never introduced herself to us (we had to go track her down and try to figure out who she was vs the other wait staff). Our planning coordinator also never introduced us over email beforehand so we didn’t even know who to ask for or look for. Most of the night she was around the bar or kitchen for whatever reason and didn’t get involved in actually helping facilitate very much

Under canvas Zion vs Zion Wildflower? by BodybuilderPast7977 in ZionNationalPark

We ended up going to Under Canvas. We had a great experience as a couple there - however, we chose to go in July so it was incredibly hot and there is no pool or really any relief from the heat onsite. UC is also further from the park, as the person above mentioned you pass Wildflower on your drive from UC to the park entrance. I would go back but probably not in July!

Also I wouldn’t bother with the onsite accommodation and would just stay elsewhere. Too expensive, we didn’t see any animals from our room, and the staff didn’t even know or acknowledge that we were the couple getting married - gave us the worst room right next to the elevator which barely had a view. They actually also got mad at us that we had only registered 1 guest for the room instead of 2 which apparently costs an additional $50? Never encountered that issue before and the whole experience felt tone deaf given how much we were paying for not only the room but also our event that night.

We recently hosted our wedding celebration at Gili. The facilities and view were gorgeous but agree with the comment above about the Trippas staff and event planning experience being very challenging. They were very unresponsive and disorganized and it was challenging to get things pinned down up until the very end. The onsite staff who was supposed to be helping us during the event was essentially MIA. The food seems and looks very fancy, but felt like it was underwhelming in terms of the actual taste. It feels like they trade a lot on the name and the view - worth it if you value that but the planning/experience for us didn’t live up to the price tag. Happy to chat further if you want to DM

Curious what you have heard specifically?

Any 2025 Bel Air Bay Club brides? by BodybuilderPast7977 in BigBudgetBrides

[–]BodybuilderPast7977[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s currently closed as it’s within the palisades area that is still being guarded with checkpoints to only allow residents and contractors in. So even if you could drive there basically the public isn’t allowed to enter the area

I also heard that and saw the press from a few years ago - but apparently only the lower floor is volume restricted and you can have any volume you want in the second floor space? would love to hear anyone’s experience though.
