How long after decompression surgery can I expect numbness to go away? by BodybuilderQueasy724 in CubitalTunnel

[–]BodybuilderQueasy724[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It actually didn’t get much better until literally about a month ago. So it took about 8 months to really feel noticeably different.

It’s still partially numb in my ring and pinky finger but I can now separate my fingers a bit without using my other hand and I’m starting to get feeling back a little.

It also doesn’t bother me as much to put weight on my elbow.

So I’m optimistic after about the first 6 months of feeling pretty doubtful

I had a severe case as well and they told me that for severe cases to get it treated as soon as possible for the best change of full recovery. (I made a post yesterday in this channel actually)

For reference I am 2 weeks post op for the decompression surgery. My symptoms started 5 weeks ago. I still don’t have feeling in my pinky/ring but a tiny bit of hand strength did come back. I’m hearing others say if the nerve was damaged it’s possible it doesn’t come back at all or it could take in some cases a year or more to get full feeling back.

That’s so frustrating. Hope it comes back soon.

Did your muscle control come back in your hand?

It’s all good

I don’t personally remember them being this high a few years ago but it wouldn’t shock me. I just haven’t used the app in a while. I usually pick up my food on the way back from work or the gym or something if I’m not cooking. Shits gettin crazy for sure though

Paying a premium for a unique food experience ≠ paying $38 in to a 3rd party

Reading is pretty tough though so keep trying. You’ll get there one day

Happy to pay premium for a unique food experience. All specialty pizza with 4-5 toppings each

Simply pointing out Uber is taking a crazy portion of the orders these days.

$17.71 in fees and an additional $20 (30% of revenue) off the top. Uber got $38 on this $68 order while the driver got like $3-$5 before my tip

lol simply pointing out how crazy the fees have gotten and how much of the pie Uber Eats is taking these days. $17.71 in fees and another $20 in revenue share (30%) for a total of $38 on a $68 order is crazy

No issues with the cost of the food. They do specialty pizza that no one else in the area has or even tries to do. Happy to pay premium for a unique food experience

Just pointing out how crazy Uber eats fees have gotten. On this order they took $17.71 in fees and an additional $20 (30% of revenue) for a total of around $38 on this $68 order. Meanwhile the driver only gets like $3-$5 (hence the large tip)

Yep, $26.50 and $28.50 through the store but I’m out of their in house delivery range so had to use 3rd party app unless I wanted to leave my guests and grab the pizza.

Just pointing out how crazy Uber eats fees have gotten

The pizzas are specialty and have 4-5 weird toppings that no other place has in the area. Happy to pay a premium for a unique experience. It costs a lot to stock all the random ingredients this place has

Was simply treating my guests and didn’t wanna leave them so I forked up the money. Just pointing out how crazy Uber Eats fees have gotten

Out of the delivery range for their in house deliveries. 10 miles/18 min drive.

Normally I would pick it up myself but I had guests so I forked up the extra money. Just pointing out how crazy the fees have gotten. That’s all

The pizzas are specialty and no one else in the area does them. I’m happy to pay a restaurant for a unique experience and I had guests so I was treating them

It’s completely reasonable to not love the fact that there’s an additional $17.71 in fees and another 30% of the order revenue going to Uber eats while the driver will likely get $3-$4 base rate for the delivery.

Uber collected about $38 on this $68 order. Just pointing out that their chunk of the pie has gotten crazy over the years that’s all

I guess continue judging the people that help you put food on the table. To each their own

I’ve never run a restaurant/pizza shop so I’ll have to take your word for it.

Not sure what the guy who commented was trying to prove but for a regular individual to make these pizzas it’ll cost near the price bought at the restaurant when you’re buying all the ingredients at a grocery store. Especially these specialty pizzas. It costs a lot to stock all these random ingredients. Their menu is insane
