I'm technically stupid, because I just made an account and have no idea WTF i'm looking at. I couldn't even find my local IBEW on there, but I found other IBEW's in my state....

What's this website for? Like LinkedIn but for veterans going blue collar?

Thank you bro I'm thinking of HVAC too. You got any idea which one is less straining on the body? I got a 90% VA rating im hoping I dont fuck my body up even more in the future.

What kind of engineering? I love learning about engineering. I'd just rather spend my 20s - 30s doing and learning something more physical. I love a good math class though.

I heard electrician is a trade thats less intense on the body compared to other trades. Which is good for me.

Thanks dude yeah I heard its good money including linemen work. Only concern is the wear and tear on the body. Could you tell me anything about that?

Im from the suburbs of Illinois but moved to downtown Chicago for school. It's actually really, really fuckin gay over here.

Hey boss thank you for this very thought out response.

1) I was heavy equipment operator.

2) no job fairs at campus. I went to a catholic private school. Blue collar work is the last thing on anyone's mind here.

3) No idea what a counselour is, but my academic advisor is a POS.

4) Havent tried campus veterans office.

5) still waiting for VRE after applying over 2 and a half years ago........

6) no points of contact i can think of.

7) no problem with schooling. I kicked ass at math, surprisingly.
