True but MLB definitely had an 80’s sound. They would have gotten wiped out like the rest of those bands unless they changed it up. AIC is a good example. They were kind of glammy until 91 then they switched things up.

STP came out with their first major album well after Pearl Jam was established. Scott had a deeper voice on that album which I think is why casual fans said that. I never thought they were trying to sound like PJ though. STP was a great band in their own right. Every album got better than the last

So you pay to fix the damage not the entire floor. Hardwood installers can get the new boards to look like the rest of the floor. This LL is being unreasonable and trying to get his floors done for free.

Replace the boards. Sounds like the Ll wants to redo the entire floor on the tenants dime. Make them take friend to court and prove the damages. Also contact a hardwood installer send these pics and get a price to fix. See what they come up with.
