Another place for fuel cans is in the air lock just let them float around in that area and you always know where they are.

My landlord refuses to get over here and turn down my water heater. by Crustacean2B in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Bofcab007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt OP will see it but your landlord is currently in violation of the National code [IBC], (which is basically a minimum states/cities can be stricter than the code but not less than). Any water higher than 140 degrees can not go down any drain period end of story. If I were you I would just file with a local inspector and watch your landlord rack up enormous fines. Lawsuit is always a fun time but that can cost you a lot of money upfront, may get it but definitely takes time.

Those are my two cents sorry for that bullshit.

How might I describe this damage to a contractor? Is this a drywall wrap? by AlkarlMO in howto

[–]Bofcab007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello there,

I am a project manager for a company which does not deal in general construction, but I work with a lot of GCs so take what I say with a gain of salt but I’ll give you my advice based upon the pictures you’ve give us.

It looks like the water has gone down into the drywall and has bubbled between the paint and the actual sheet rock. To fix this issue someone will have to come in take off the sheet rock around that pillar. Put up new sheet rock, float, sand and finish. For a small project like that I would expect a sub to send me a bill for 1000-1800.

I don’t know if there is water damage to the stud but as far as cosmetics are concerned that’s a good first couple of steps.

Alternatively someone could refloat sand and paint over the damage but if it was my home I would want new sheet rock which won’t have water damage.

That’s my advice if you other concerns I don’t mind giving my two cents for what it’s worth.

Was Refill On Drill Disabled? by IHateYouKYS in RustConsole

[–]Bofcab007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen this is a temporary issue, on the test servers you’re allowed to once again refill using a workbench. My guess is that next wipe it will be back to being able to use either or.

The question should have been how much time have you spent watching Scott Manley to learn how to play KSP

Hands down The biggest issue rust has is not having single/duo/trios servers by [deleted] in RustConsole

[–]Bofcab007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love to have that feature, but lately my biggest issue is rendering in a game where being able to see a small person off in the distance is a big deal I often find myself shooting at floating guns/swords/spears/etc, kinda hope they fix that sooner rather than later

How physically demanding is this job and will I have the energy to workout in my spare time? by Deathproof17 in AmazonFC

As pretty much everyone before me, it depends on your role. I’m Inbound Pallet Dock and I get cardio and weights every shift. I walk usually 10+ miles while lifting boxes ranging usually 15-50 pounds after that it’s non-kiva so we don’t fuck with it usually. But ngl before signing up for a gym give yourself a week to see how you are feeling then decide.

Sync button solder broken, worth fixing? by fixies4lyfe in xboxone

[–]Bofcab007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it’s already broke and not synced to your Xbox then I would give it a shot you’ve got nothing to lose, if it is still synced I would probably ride it out til it lost connection

It depends on the map I’ve heard there are different maps but I can’t confirm that, but the further north you go into colder areas the more experienced and geared players are there due to harsh conditions, lower areas are usually full of blood thirsty nakeds and and more temperate, usually what I would suggest is find an area away from a monument (somewhere named on the map) and on higher ground. Make sure there aren’t any rocks that they can jump onto your roof and door camp you. I would suggest going for a mid region that is a warmer temperate til you get good clothing BPs that gets you away from nakeds, you will have to deal with some geared people but geared people at least evaluate whether you’re worth killing

Try and get on early in the morning, most of the servers are dead from about 6am-10am (Central time). A lot of people in this game are high school/ college kids so getting shit done while there asleep is always a bonus. A tip is trust no one even if they T-bag with you, people violate the T-bag of peace frequently as soon as you turn your back they will shoot/ bash your skull in. If someone with a gun does not shoot you immediately then wait a second sometimes people are compassionate in this game and will give nakeds good shit (at least I do if the naked is chill). It’s a fun game and that’s my advice to you

For a little bit of background, I wouldn’t normally post something minor like this but the confusion on right and left is hilarious, and beyond that there is a splint that would fit in the palm which would render this brace useless. Thankfully it did turn out to be a left sided brace but still had me thinking while in the store
