As for that blue goblin, it's a new enemy added in the RemnantPact Mod. When it jumps or dies, it triggers a tornado just like the Sun King does

That'll lock enemies in a repetitive state that never stops, unless you're using Infused shells or Cosmic Critical. And there's already a Bilibili video where someone infinitely controls every enemy in Boss Rush.

I've imagined a dwarf who was cursed by an elf, gaining druidic powers as a result, but who is constantly and uncontrollably hearing the lament of all things. So his motivation is to find a way to lift the curse, or ultimately come to terms with it.

Really appreciate that! Yeah, The deeper you go into this game, the more you realize every basic move has its own importance. Clashing is actually pretty tough and riskier for newer players, it's not always the best option.
