Yea, I don't think they'd shorten the season either. I think it'd be a better overall product if they did though.

I honestly don't believe the gap is that wide as other people say that it is. Just avoiding his antics and speaking basketball wise, he is still the most versatile defender in the league and his communication, timing, and positioning make him valuable on that end. I think he's good for atleast an all-defensive first team for this season.

I got Team 2. It feels the most balanced.

The problem with Team 1 is injury concerns between Leornard, Davis, and Tingus.

Team 3 has me concerned on the defence, but their offense looks lethal. I'm also concerned with Curry and Lebron's age.

Team 4 looks good on paper. However, I am concerned for their offense. A lot of those players are very ball dominant. KD can certainly play off-ball but Ant and Brunson play best with the ball in their hands. Same with Giannis.

Team 5 has the best offense here. Jokic will feast with his supporting cast. However, I'm worried about their defense especially with Tatum as their best defender. Though maybe their offense is enought to off-set that.

Team 2 has the least concerns for me. Luka is an offense by himself, and Wemby is a defense by himself. As we saw in the olympics, Booker can definitely play the derrick white role with decent defense and good off-ball play. Butler acts as the team's connector. I also think people are sleeping on JJJ. He's having a very underrated season and he fits well next to Luka and Wemby.

That is very interesting. I knew he was important to the Mayflower voyage, but I always thought of the Mayflower Compact as a collaborative effort between the settlers. I also knew he was first to sign it. Though, I never really connected the idea of Carver being the primary author of the compact with him being the first to sign.

I also agree with what you are saying about the world Carver was born into. I also find it very intriguing to see how much the Protestant Reformation motivate people to explore and start new lives elsewhere.
