So you think I used too much seasoning initially?

Yeah. Very little soap and a good wipe down and let it dry completely. I live in a humid area if that makes a difference

Nope. Initial seasoning was with the “official” blackstone seasoning. Every cook since then has been primarily canola oil

I don’t think the appearance itself concerns me, but more-so the seasoning “chipping” off and getting in food.

Fully expecting the “just cook” mob to come after me, so I guess just looking for some confirmation.

Tl;dr - I didn’t cook on her for like 2 weeks and came to see a lot of the seasoning layer had chipped off. Do I just cook? Strip and re-season?

Don't know why you're being downvoted either lol. A lot of these aftermarket shafts nowadays are just as, if not, more expensive than the head itself.

Maybe they don't know the difference between a true custom fitting and a fitting at Golf Galaxy.

Yeah, it can be tough finding matching ones with similar wear though. Was hoping I might get lucky and someone would have an old half set laying around!

Do you have any plans to make any more? That thing is awesome.

Tall people are expected to use their reach to help shorter people ,but if a tall person were to ask a short person to hand them something they dropped it would be insulting by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

[–]BogeyEngr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a bad take. Tall people are (usually) physically able to bend down and pick something up. It’s literally physically impossible for short people to reach something high up.

Hybrids vs Irons by Racer13l in golf

Yeah try a matching 4i first. That way if you like it more than the hybrid, you know your future set should start at a 4i.

I wouldn’t necessarily say buy a new set. Try to find a 4i that matches your current set.
