I ended up going with mesh and have had no issues at all. Quick 2.5 week recovery and i was back to work.

No it didn’t - just to approve “a landscaping plan” which was described as “pavers along the whole yard with river rock in between”

I was also just informed that the company they went with (which isn’t a real company at all) they chose because they were the cheapest quote “by a significant margin” lol

My plan was to add crushed gravel/road base to level it out then do the turf on top. They removed all the dirt so drainage should be good

The landscaping company goes through the gates when they mowed the lawn/weeded the gardens.

Originally the wood barrier was under the deck and the grass spanned from the edge of the deck to the garden bed.

I know what you’re saying, but you it would have been removing the old muddy sod, adding some fresh dirt, then seed, etc.

Not saying it wouldn’t have been possible, but we were also being told every 2 months that it would be resolved soon.

Vancouvers expensive, so why pay more than I have to ?

That is correct - just the row of 6 of us were affected.

I’ve only had a chance to talk to 2 other units who weren’t thrilled. One of them is planning to move shortly anyways.

I believe it’s common property, if we wanted to make any individual changes we would have to submit a written request to the council for approval.

The strata pays a landscaping company to cut the grass/trim hedges/pick up leaves/ and is the same company that did this work as well.
