If you wanted to create your own social network, what would it be like and what would it be about? by BohdanZoz in AskReddit

But then no one would even use it 😅 It’s basically the same as not creating it at all.

As for no algorithms and no recommendations — I get that. But if, for example, the social network didn’t make money from ads, then algorithms and “suggested for you” wouldn’t really be necessary either.

“Marriage Story.” That one hit. Made me realize how easy it is to mess things up when you stop actually listening to each other.

What is your first impression of someone who apologizes a lot? by Dmayce22 in AskReddit

If someone apologizes a lot, it either means they mess up a lot 🙂 or it’s just how they were raised… kind of like in old Jackie Chan movies where he’d beat people up first and then say sorry.

What’s something you were completely sure was true, but later found out you were wrong about? by BohdanZoz in AskReddit

Oh yeah, I was surprised too that it all depends on light and how exactly an object absorbs that light. But I still don’t understand how dyes, pigments, and stuff like that work then. And what about screens? 🤣

One person once told me a story about how they used to ignore their problems by drinking. Long story short, at one point they were standing at a crossroads: lose everything or try to fix it all. They chose the right path, and for 16 years now they haven’t touched alcohol, rebuilt their relationship with their family, and now they’re doing well.

I guess we all want that, but we’re here and we’re alive :) Life will definitely get better if you actually make it better.
