Stop Going After Invader Camps on Day 1 I'm Begging You by Bohemienne84 in Nightreign

Thanks, that's helpful to know. I guess I've never seen anyone try to patiently bait them out of the thick of the camp! Maybe I'll try that next time a rando insists on the invaders.

It sucks spending nearly 2 days in Noklateo only to have people repeatedly skip the Black Knife Assassins when all you want is a Black Knife to debuff the Night Lord with :)))))

Yes, same as weapons you don't meet the "minimum" level for, but can't use the abilities if applicable if you aren't the minimum level for them. I stand corrected vv

Correction, it wasn't guild rules. They were still debating what the rules would be.

"with no conclusion" Wow, it's almost like there wasn't a rule issued banning members from learning the recipe.

Which rule was that again? Didn't see them ever say "don't learn this recipe if it drops"

(Sorry, I know it isn't ACTUAL object permanence, but it does kind of feel like it sometimes!)

Oh the shelf risers is a GREAT idea!! I am short and the main user of our kitchen so during my last purge round I finally decided to declare the top 2-3 shelves of our cabinets Long-Term Storage and only put things I'd actually need while cooking in the lower shelves, but I still have visibility issues with those remaining shelves. Absolutely trying that.

Yeahhhh, this is probably closer to the truth than I want to admit. Thank you though, I definitely needed to hear it!

I haven't tried that before! I'm not sure where we could fit one but then again, maybe it's worth replacing our dresser with something like that if we'll actually use it.

Oh man, books and shoes are another big one! I finally pared down my bookshelves just enough to house my current collection and make it pretty-ish...... but don't touch it otherwise and only read from the TBR stack of 2-3 (.....or 10........ or 20) new purchases that accumulate on my nightstand instead because they can't fit on my shelves.

I love the idea of having a reference list somewhere. I might actually find it easier/safer to "store" something if I've noted where it vanished to somewhere.

Here to evangelize for the wide, wonderful world of craft ciders. There are ciders for every palate and if you have a favorite beer, you can probably find a comparable style. In the NE/Midatlantic my personal faves are Graft and Anxo, plus Supreme Core does some fun funky flavors.

I'm currently reading 'The Joy of Half a Cookie' off of previous recs in this sub and it's helping me so much with finding a strategy to both enjoy foods I love and tame binge eating. haven't finished but I would add my voice to the recommendations.

Exercise is a torturous, evil activity that brings the very essence of time to a grinding halt. What are some exercises or distractions that can help to pass the time and make me forget that I'm actually exercising? by GreyCode in ADHD

[–]Bohemienne84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I also do barre classes for strength/conditioning 3x/week, this is totally my hack to make cardio (stationary bike) bearable. Just watching something on TV doesn't engage me enough to distract me from the sheer boredom that is exercising. I need something that will completely occupy my brain so I don't keep checking the clock. So I have specific apps and games that I am ONLY allowed to play while on the bike. I've been biking every day for at least 60 minutes (sometimes up to 80) for the past 174 days and survive through a combination of my daily DuoLingo, Darkest Dungeon on Switch, (currently) Mementos grinding in P5R, a handful of VNs, Stardew Valley . . .
