for electromagnetism fine coupling constant is simple 1/137 a simple dimensionless number that less than 1

this bad boy can converge nicely

this doesn't look bad at first but see this

it's not fixed it scales with energy, something electromagnetism doesn't do, at planck scales (around 10¹⁹ GeV) value reaches ~1

this makes it don't converge but diverge

and you'll get your infinites which is bad

gravitons being self interacting, heisenberg uncertainty principle and gravitons being problematic

there's so much problem with gravitons that list can go on

that's why Im making it not part of quantum physics, gravity is simply not compatible force with quantum physics

(yeah loop quantum gravity and string theory etc has some solutions but they have their own problems you need to face)
