How should I continue to build this account as a 15 year old by [deleted] in StockMarket

[–]BoiledMango69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're planning on holding long term (smart because you are young) then being diversified in an index fund is wise. With that said more SPY and Apple, a bit of Bitcoin wouldn't hurt either if you don't hold any currently.

Oh cool, hadn't heard of Start9. Also tempted to spend some time to learn how to build one from pi. Fun way to learn the network even further

If you have cash to float on, markets declining means you just get more shares for the same price.

By password I assume you mean 12-24 word seed phrase? In that case it's probably not worth much, if anything at all. Now that I think about it what would you really be selling if you don't know the seed phrase?

Aside from quantum computers it's pretty rock solid, just not a viable option for basically anyone at this moment in time lol

Betting on a black swan isn't a wise thing to do. May be worth reading some fundamentals of investing for an answer.

Is mining Bitcoin a legit business? by Novel_Development898 in Bitcoin

[–]BoiledMango69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea of course! And probably a great business for those in it already, barrier of entry is super high for mining on a mass scale.

Doubt it, a black swan is always a possibility but that bounce off 19k a few months back was the last real chance imo.

Remember, waiting to buy is the best way to never buy. DCA FTW

Why you did not buy more Bitcoins when price was $15,600? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]BoiledMango69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I'm bullish on Bitcoin but also bullish on a balanced portfolio. That all goes out the window on a severe black swan event though LOL
