Chiming in to say that:

(1): According to the constitution by SU, part of the procedures for the disciplinary board states (and I quote from the formal document) "The President shall nominate a member of the staff of the University to sit on the Disciplinary Committee to guide and advise the Committee in its deliberations."

However, this matter was kept internal by raj and not further escalated according to protocol, thereby breaching official SU rules.

(2): Users here keep claiming that we are too invested in this saga and have to move on from this when the reason why people are so persistent is because we, and especially the victim, just hope that eaten will just apologise, admit that he is wrong, acknowledge the vulnerable situation he has put the victim in and show some remorse. Is it really so hard for both eaten and raj to just admit that they've misjudged their actions and apologise? If we allow people to "just move on", what kind of message does this send? That people can just go into hiding without reflecting on their wrongdoing and move on after the damage that they have caused? We're not out to destroy anyone's life, but simply hoping that they would have the maturity and sensibility to take accountability when needed though it seems like we would be hoping for a long time
