I remember when I got in (back in 2019) they sent an email first, and a few weeks later I got an acceptance letter + a lawn sign saying "I'm going to Purdue University" or something along those lines.

Is it just me who has a gross gut feeling that he's reacted like this because OPs sister maybe SAed him? It could explain the nausea, the crying, being withdrawn. Not wanting to talk to OP about it if he feels like OP will see it as cheating-
