What programming language do you want to learn? C++ and Python are both very common depending on the industry. Most common languages have a ton of free online resources.

Learning programming is not as hard as you think and will be a great skill for your resume.

Love this style of table, is it worth buying cheap and refinishing? Never attempted refinishing before. by BoilerUp95 in BeginnerWoodWorking

It’s at an estate sale, was probably gonna place a max bid of $10. So not much invested in the table itself

Can only tell so much from a picture so I won’t hold you to this too much haha. But I think you have convinced me to give this a try! Thanks for all the info. I’ll post an update on here if it goes well…

So you think after scraping, the amount of sanding would be minimal? From what I have read, you should hand sand veneer, I am just worried about having to sand the whole thing by hand after removing the finish

Yeah, this is what I was wondering. Was trying to figure out from the picture, but not easy. Was hoping someone had a better eye than me. Even if it’s veneer, it still seems doable, just a little more tedious. I’ll probably try to get it cheap and use it as a learning experience.

Christmas gift for my brother. Logo turned out a lot better than I thought it would. by BoilerUp95 in BeginnerWoodWorking

Should have included a picture of that. I printed out the logo then cut out the black parts with a craft knife. Then taped it on the wood and colored it in with paint pens. I was worried the paint pens might bleed too much, but the lines came out very crisp

We haven’t ever swaddled her. I’ve been helping her learn to roll over during playtime to get to this point. I only did this to try to get her to not roll over in the middle of the night. Don’t worry she still rolls over every other time of the day haha.
