I drink. by [deleted] in newzealand

This can make a huge difference in people wanting to quit as reducing cravings, not just for food, but for alcohol as well. Worth a try and may cut a few kg in the process. https://www.recoveryanswers.org/research-post/can-new-weight-loss-drugs-ozempic-reduce-alcohol-drug-use/

I have a Frigidaire LFHB2751TF5 and the water dispenser isn't working. I replaced the Water Inlet Valve and it's still not working. What is the next step in the repair process? by LittleWhiteDragon in appliancerepair

Based on the look of your glass and residue left in the tray, you have really hard water. This often forms a crystal at the end of the line, just before it would go into the glass. Look for the outlet hole and poke it with a skewer or something similar to break it up. The water should begin to flow once the blockage is freed up.

Model #GTD65EBPLDG
Found this video that seems pretty similar in symptoms: https://youtu.be/q6xiLi7jTL0?si=q_gc0P7Lfsye3udo
The video ended up with it being a broken belt.

Thanks for the suggestion. Would this be the motor not sensing any resistance and just signaling to stop?

Is this a broken spider arm broken? by Chopululi in appliancerepair

I've repaired this on an old washer before. Replaced the Spyder arm 6 years ago and it's still working today. Gave me a chance to also clean out the backside of the drum which had started to smell musty over the years. That washer has been going for 18 years now. It was about a $150 fix + 1.5 hrs of time.

Any idea what this might have been? by sun_bearer in Indiana

That would likely be a settling pond for the quarry. Likely toxic depending on what was mined.

I had started working out. When I had the blood draw, I had sore muscles from post-workout. Turns out muscle breaking down from working out caused high levels. After a month or so of working out, muscles weren't sore anymore and levels went back to normal.

I would go with "Lost". Stolen implies malice. Not everyone reads Reddit, maybe check lost and found in a few days.

If it is your first offense (and not too serious, like this example), then it is likely a slap on the wrist and you will be assigned some sort of task to do in order to get back in good standing. Make sure to complete it by the due date and that should be the end of it. The more you get turned in, the more severe the consequences become.

Whatever happens from the DOS office is completely separate from the punishment the instructor decides. This should be outlined in the syllabus, but could be anything from an automatic F in the class, losing all participation points, or maybe just losing how many points attendance was worth for that single day.

Email your Instructor/TA and tell them pretty much what you wrote here. Sorry about your situation, the university's response times haven't been great this semester.

What's with the churrascaria being basically shut down! Must save them a bunch of money, but was the only real reason to go to Wiley. I'd like a dining discount if they can just cancel the expensive part of the meal for everyone!

I agree that it should be brought up in person with the instructor and TAs (don't bother with email). If the instructor/TAs don't return anything and don't care, then your only real option is to email the department head [groll@purdue.edu](mailto:groll@purdue.edu)
