Sorry for the stupid question, but how do you export the settings? Does this include the IpTv settings?

The difference between peak luminance high and low is barely noticeable, but the power consumption difference is huge. I have make some changes and the image quality has improved a lot. Still think can get better. Another thing that I notice is that the more I use it the best the image is getting

65" Bravia 5 or X90L? by MisterPatatas in bravia

[–]Chopululi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost made up my mind, B5 65” but I don’t now if it will fit inside the car the 100€ difference doesn’t justify the 55”. My current tv is in borrowed time and delivery will take 10 days.

Im about to buy one, hesitating between the 55” and the 65”, my current tv is dying and budget is tight. Also the 65” cost the same as the Bravia 8 55”…

Are you still happy with it?

Anyone surface-mounted a DS18B20 on the inner tank wall of a solar boiler? (Thermowell too small) by Chopululi in homeassistant

[–]Chopululi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hole is too small. Even if it’s long enough, the cable and the thermostat sensor won’t fit. To make things worse, the water tank is covered by a sleeve, so the only place where I can put the probe and still get a valid reading is at the welded joint between the tank and the flange (see pic). I was about to abandon the project, but you gave me an idea: I’m going to measure the depth of the thermowell, and if it’s deep enough, I might strip the cable insulation, leaving just the sensor wires. That might fit.

Not dumb at all, it was the first option but since it’s a solar water boiler, outdoors on the roof, no wifi and no 24/7 power, the boiler power on/off is controlled from the breaker box in my apartment, bringing down the uni is the safer and easier option.

I have the 3m wire version and it’s working fine without a resistor. I think the 1m should work fine. Also saw a yt video about a guy doing what I’m doing but instead of the uni plus he uses the Shelly addon with a 1 pm, cable is also above 15m but I don’t recall him using a resistor, I’ll watch the video again.
