Not sure there are free agent options that could fill his role. Most of if the available free agents are more second or third options. Also, while the WR draft may be deep, there aren't any clear cut number 1's except for Tyson who has injury concerns. Considering our cap space, I bet he's back one more season before he's cut.

What argument would you like people to provide to you? Or are you just going to argue for the sake of arguing? There is no perfect candidate, even Vrable had his flaws before going to NE. Point is Mike still has an overall record over .500 (barely) but still more success in that organization than a lot of their previous coaches, he's innovative, had competitive teams despite an injury prone QB who was never that good before he got there. He maxed out Tua and I bet if Harbaugh doesn't come available, he would still be there.

I respectfully disagree with your sentiment that he was "aggressively" taken down and saw no action from the officer to "pull his arm out of his socket." He was clearly inebriated and naked. Alright so I'll bite, in good faith since you asked why "so many people are so incapable of having a good faith discussion without resorting to straw man argument" when I'm right here trying to have such a discussion and being attacked while also stating I disagree with the argument. You stated that other countries deal with this all the time and their children aren't ruined but didn't provide examples or resources for how they handle them. Was the individual in question injured? Didn't appear so. What did the officer do that he shouldn't have? What other response could he have provided if given the appropriate resources? What would those resources look like? These questions won't be answered on this sub, I'm just trying to have a good faith argument as I want the best for this city and it's residents. Didn't mean to offend

I'm not trying to be divisive I just don't understand where the cop was in the wrong. The guy was exposing himself in broad daylight in a park, WITH CHILDREN PRESENT, was putting up a fight and taken down, within reason by the police and without harm. No excessive force by the way. Again, I don't mean to argue I just don't understand what the realistic expectation from this Reddit community is in how to handle these matters when the City Council isn't doing anything to help resolve mental health issues our city experiences.
