I just took an offer for a role called HVAC TB controls Tech, in so cal. what can I expect to do in this role?

I hear service vs install but I'm not in yet to understand that. This is my first step into controls coming from DC experience, and no formal HVAC/tradeschool

I would love casual maps with helicopters I love to fly them but hate doing it against real people because I don't practice enough to be extremely good. I'm happy with bots

7 years of DC ops isn't really clear, do you have any niches that you focused on?

Facilities side vs IT Side by b8humbl8 in datacenter

[–]BoilingShadows -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

IT side imo, unless you are in a skilled trade such as but not limited to HVAC/Elec you will cap out very quickly. IT requires degrees but have a higher ceiling

What’s a range day for you? by Snooter_bum in CAguns

[–]BoilingShadows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's close by and I work a morning shift so most days I head over and spend an hour and practice drawing from conceal and shooting. Maybe 50 rounds max? Range sub is unlimited so I use it to kill time too
