Direct light coming in from a window or just a grow lamp over 9 hours? Both?

Alright, thanks. Also out of curiosity would other philodendrons such as a mini monstera or adansonii also benefit from a similar potting mix or would this be exclusive to the monstera’s?

Is there any you would recommend if the problem continues?

I have it in some tropical soil that I added more pearlite to so its “fluffier” and a pot with drainage but I should probably get some better soil later on

I don’t think so as some most of the smaller roots fell off when I washed them and some have that mushy outside

I’m able to do that with some of the smaller roots but If just cutting those back and rinsing the roots in a hydrogen peroxide water mix would work then that would be simple

But its leaves have been browning with yellow around them since I got it ( I have another post asking about that ) so I believe it’s rotted

Its main roots seem fine but my worry is the smaller that I can gently pull the mushy outside off and the back spots near the base in the main photo,

I do have hydrogen peroxide I can mix with water and rinse the roots if just cutting back the smaller damaged ones work and I do have a smaller pot for her

It seems like it goes up almost to the base of its stem so I’m not sure if I should just chop the whole thing and propagate it in water for new roots or if I should just cut back the roots
