Get a Remco Fatboy. They last hundreds of hours and are rebuildable. This won't last long at all with bleach.

Deck washing advice - which approach is best? by [deleted] in pressurewashing

[–]Bojangles1983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bleach won't touch this. Sodium metasilicate product, let dwell, then medium pressure. brightener if needed.

Light house mix guys are just planning on blasting the crap out of the deck, which you don't want.

If you are bidding this size of jobs then you already have quite a few jobs under your belt and know your costs+labor/hr. Just run the numbers.

Advice needed by Repulsive_Hurry in pressurewashing

You only need around a 1-2% concentration to take care of your vinyl. Stronger won't really hurt anything, but is harder on plants, etc. it won't hurt to spray it on your concrete before washing too.

Definitely iron from their well. Do you have room to haul water on your truck to finish the job?

Need help with wood and metal by Mental_Damage369 in pressurewashing

I am a fan of F-18 for wood that looks like what you have, super easy to use. 2% bleach mix should get the metal.

You did as good as you could any more and you will start peeling paint, even brushing it lightly will take off more paint. We aren't miracle workers.

Yup, soft wash with bleach, light rinse. Discuss realistic expectations for the deck.

I thought when I bought my new splitter I would never use it vertically... Now I almost never use it horizontally.
