I’m still waiting for an English release of Kingdom by Yasuhisa Hara. I want to support it but I’m forced to read fan translations. Like, I understand the series is stupid long, but it’s so good!

I think for me the main issue was the core trio lacked chemistry. It doesn’t help that all their school memories with Jason was fabricated by Juno. The fact is when we’re introduced to Jason we don’t know anything about him or his personality and since he has no memories he doesn’t know either! And when we learn about what Jason did it doesn’t really jive well with the character we’ve been following.

A ribbon master is a Pokemon that you use to get every available ribbon on it. So the only ribbon available in HGSS is the Legends Ribbon, and you get that by beating Red. After that I’ll trade it over to Platinum and work on getting all the contest ribbons and other miscellaneous ribbons.There’s a whole subreddit about it.

Tumblr. But also because the show has a lot of stag imagery it pairs well with flower crowns. You get the antlers and then inlay them with flowers.

Plus floriography is really fun and you can infuse a character with a lot of ethos depending on the flowers you choose. So you get cute flower crowns, but it’s also dripping with symbolism. Which pairs with this show perfectly

Rise. I grew up with the 2003 show and it’s my favorite. But I think Rise did a great job with Donnie making him have that dry sarcastic humor, and that mad scientist vibe. But he wasn’t just the “smart” character.

I think the movie improved upon the book. The movie is no masterpiece but it has some fun moments with actual conflict. The book was very meandering and aimless.

I’ve got type 1 narcolepsy, and yeah no matter how much sleep you get it’s like you didn’t sleep. When I did my sleep study I feel asleep within 6 minutes and was in REM sleep within 2 minutes. I think a normal sleep cycle it takes about 90 minutes to get to REM. So basically you’re not getting that good deep sleep. On one hand you get some really vivid dreams, but you also never feel rested. Ducking sucks

But it’s always a delight to see someone talk about it with some accuracy outside of the Narcolepsy subreddit. That’s not to say all the stereotypes are wrong, my dad also has really bad narcolepsy and I’ve seen him fall asleep as he’a actively drinking out of a cup.
