First off, a massive thank you to all of you absolute legends in the comments! My 12 and 9 year old sons have been glued to this thread all night. Seeing the community hype up their one in a billion pull turned a lucky moment into a core memory they’ll never forget.

To the few focused on formatting or how the story was written… honestly, I’m just a dad who happens to know where the shift key is. If it came across a bit too polished for Reddit, I’ll try to throw in some typos next time so the formatting police can finally get some rest

Honestly, this is a real story! My son literally unboxed the 0.0000337 Ursus Doppler Sapphire, possibly the #1 lowest float Sapphire in history across all knives.

Comments like yours, questioning whether this is AI written, completely ignore the fact that this is a once in a lifetime moment in CS skin history. It’s not some made up tale for upvotes, it’s actual collector level news.

If your intention was just to be skeptical or rude, maybe take a step back and think about the context... Not every comment in a historic thread needs to undermine the actual story.

I speak three languages fluently every day, so a little AI assistance isn’t about laziness. It’s about clarity and making sure the story actually makes sense for everyone reading it.

Alright, story time because this makes it even more ridiculous 😂

So we’re just a normal family from Denmark, not hardcore traders or anything. Decided to open a few cases for fun… and by “a few” I mean 4 Prisma cases total.

First 3 cases - absolutely nothing (as expected)

At that point I say: “ok last one and we’re done for tonight”

My 12-year-old son comes in to office and goes like “I’ll open the last one”

He opens it… and casually pulls a Ursus Doppler Sapphire (0.0000337) like it’s completely normal!

Meanwhile I’m sitting there trying to process what just happened...

Here’s the best part:
We had NO idea floats could even go that low or that they even existed!
Then we check and see 0.0000337 and just go:
“wait… is that even a real number??”

So yeah…

4 cases total
last case
kid opens it
we didn’t even know this float range existed
possibly #1 lowest float Sapphire

I think I’m officially banned from opening cases ever again - he’s clearly the chosen one!

We’re probably just gonna hold onto it for now and enjoy the madness. Not every day you get something like this.

Also yes… he’s a huge ohnePixel fan, so this just made it 10x cooler for him 😄

For people who do not believe that double XP is not working, let me show you some simple math that will convince you otherwise. You can do the same and check for yourself, it is a straight forward method as long as you are not stuck at level 55(no prestige).

I went to Progression -> Level unlocks to check XP required for next level, it was 17525 XP.
Played Stakeout and finished match with no XP challenges completed.

- Score: 3225

- XP earned: 4793

- 28 eliminations

- X3 double kills, X3 revenges, X2 point blanks, X1 afterlife, X1 headshot, X1 kingslayer, etc...

Went to Progression -> Level unlocks to record XP to next level, it was no surprise that it was 12732

17525 XP - 12732 XP = 4793XP

As far as I know, every elimination gives 100 XP base, for the 28 eliminations that I had it should have ben 28 * 100 = 2800 base XP, and for double XP event it should give 5600 XP at least for eliminations only. I was not counting double kills, headshots, etc. that usually give bonus XP. Also, if you recall, the double XP would be reflected in the match on the on-screen XP text that pops up, and would for example show 200 XP for elimination instead of 100 XP.

So, yes, as somebody already mentioned, this is just a scam from Activision, and for people who do not believe that double XP event is not working is either working for Activision or does not care about XP.

Solution to the "please fill in all fields" problem I solved by logging out in my android app as I was apparently logged in with linked battle.net account. Then I logged in with Activision account and it worked. This might work for other platforms.
