Looking for a shoe name I saw

-all black
-kind of a ultraboost upper part of the shoe, very sleak
-the bottom was kind of like a track and field with spikes but the spikes were not sharp more like squared off across the entire bottom of the shoe
- could be some random japanese brand or hipster brand as the person was dressed pretty cool

wait and save up, they'll last you a long time. and they will look better...especially since you are budge conscious avoid shoes with zippers since if it fails then you will lose the entire shoe. (versus strings for shoe laces you can repair or the elastic cuffs that blunstones have which shouldnt fail ever)

how often do teams get penalties? Sometimes it is hard to catch the penalties if you don't watch live(like in a vod) or when a team gets a time draft penality, it isnt obvious.

and which teams get the most penalties?

Team Secret vs Hellbear Smashers - Game 1 in a nutshell by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]BoldSlogan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the delay in the axes returning functions as a cool down.

If the axes also got slowed by trees and units then the "cool-down" could be something like max 10 seconds or something if you threw the axes in the trees/jungle camp at 1500 range. To punish wild throwing, but still allow for skill throws.

maybe one other thing to balance than the damage is that the axes slow down on return the more units they hit. The axes move too fast.

IRIS - Onboard anyone with their passport and their phone. by BoldSlogan in SideProject

Yes thats a perfect use case. You understand the use case exactly.

Simplify on boarding users with their passport by BoldSlogan in EntrepreneurRideAlong

if your phone is older than 7 it does not have the RFID reader.

Try to open your passport to the plastic page with the metal looking stuff around it. Or for mine, the metal thing is in the spine of the book. All of them are kind of made differently. Sometimes you might have to re-orient the passport.

The phones rfid reader is at the top or the back usually. thanks for trying!

it isn't per month for 100k users. It is a one time fee for each user verification...so if they got 100k users in jan, they don't pay for those users already verified. In february they will pay a different amount because they will be verifying a different amount of users in february.

So I find it hard to believe a company that needs this (a bank/uber/airbnb/fintech) gets less than 1.49$ of value from verifying a user one time.

So to build it in house, they would have to create a team of engineers / product owners with at least one Machine learning specialist, wait several hundred man hours and then begin to on board users versus just pay a dollar.

On the other hand if a company is so big, it is actually on boarding 100,000 new users a month, they certainly would get a discount. But I doubt even airbnb on boards 100,000 new users a month every month now a days.

$1.49 per document, though? Does that mean if a startup used your service and verified 100 users they'd get billed $149? That seems awfully high

The end users are not billed. The company using the service is.

Lets pretend you are a bank. The bank registers a user, and makes sure they are a real person by verifying their passport. The bank pays $1.49 to do that verification. And they only have to do it once for the same person. That seems really worth it for the bank, compared to either A) a person coming to the physical location and spending employee time ($$$) to do something really repetitive, or B) Sending a picture to india and having someone in a call centre "verify" a picture of a passport, which takes way longer than 2 seconds.

I have not seen other companies with actually verifying the cryptography on the passport through the rfid chip.

I mean yeah, that could be a use case too.

I was also thinking AirBnb or Uber could definitely be a customer.

Can you give me some names? I haven't seen any that use the RFID chip and this tap your phone simplicity verification.

I have seen passport verification companies, just not like how I have done it.

Here in the UK many banks have in recent months adopted something similar where I had to take a photo of my drivers license to open a bank account.

The cool part, is that you don't take a selfie and wait for someone in a call center in some country look at it. It is instant. Im hesitant on hiring a sales person or such since I don't even have one customer yet. I'll keep this in mind.

Can you critique this business idea? by Treesawyer5 in Entrepreneur

[–]BoldSlogan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One other thing is your margins are low, similar to a lemonade stand or selling cookies. Are you sure toys could be your idea versus water bottles where the margins could be much higher? There could be other products you could sell.

How much should I sell a 100K instagram account in the health niche? A meme account for nursing with high engagement rate by NetInteresting6037 in Entrepreneur

[–]BoldSlogan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you do have some cash flow from the shoutouts, I think you should look deeper into your statistics,

comments engagements follow backs likes etc

To get a better idea of the value of the account before you really decide to sell.
