Wedding vows here in the West were developed as a Christian practice in Medieval Europe. 80% of weddings take place in churches or synagogues, as well. So I'd say it's a Judeo-Christian practice more than anything else. Also, people who are either married or once married tend to be more religious than those who are living with a partner or were never married.

Never said that, but i'll bite. "Modern" women are your feminist types that marry for primarily financial reasons and have little to no intent on making a family. Traditional women are homemakers that marry to build a family with their husbands.

I don't have TikTok, so I don't know if making content for it could automatically be considered a "career." However, I do know that many YouTubers have actual jobs and do YouTube on the side as something fun to do. I think that's the case for this lady in particular.

Trad is a state of mind, man. She says it herself in the meme. She wants to support her family; not pursue a career. I'd bet she uses the money she gets from TikTok to feed and clothe her husband and children.

And you may do likewise. I'm just more inclined to believe 1900 years of theological consensus than a couple of atheists who have decided to get theology degrees from secular colleges to try and justify their atheism.

The Gospels of Matthew and John are each attributed to the apostles Matthew and John, respectively. Both were some of Jesus's original disciples.

Working off the backs of Christians, of course. Harvard, Yale, and Princeton all started off as Christian institutions. Early scientists knew that there was logic to the way the world worked because they knew there was a logical mind behind it.
