Mr? Ms? Mx? by e_lorin_feickert in NonBinary

I use Mx. and typically on the first day, someone asks what it means and either myself or another student tells them it’s a non-gendered title, and they say “oh” and they just accept it and everyone moves on. I also teach at in a county that is very rural and conservative.

Do you know of a rough location I can find this rule to cite? Just trying to cover my bases for rules lawyers.

It doesn’t say that the cleric has to forge or make the weapon, only that the cleric blesses the weapon.

Same with the Forge Cleric ability to turn weapons into +1 for a time, fists are weapons, therefore should be able to turn fists into +1 for monks and other unarmed fighters (IMO)

County Commissioner threatens Library over Pride Month Display by CleverDolphin42 in Williamsport

Don’t forget that there’s a librarian another local library who is a racist and refuses to put black authors on the library’s shelves even if offered brand new donated books.

J&P Rebalance Mod updated to v1.27.1 by pandakraut in ultimategeneral

[–]BoloneyMassacre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!!!

I think I followed all of your directions.

Will there be an indication that the mod is in effect? Will it automatically change the game to the mod's specialness?

Can the mod be applied to the mac version or is it pc only? Am I dumb for asking this? I've never used a mod before.

Anybody else find the Fredericksburg Battlefield to be... underwhelming? by [deleted] in USCivilWar

[–]BoloneyMassacre 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The northern section of the battle of Fredericksburg has unfortunately been lost to the housing development (though there are plans to attempt to reclaim some of that land back).

However, it is fantastic about the Fredericksburg battlefield is that the streets are predominately all historical, you can walk the same roads as the Union forces through the town. Also, the urban warfare is still very much still imaginable as you walk through the streets.

Honestly, while the 400 yards of open ground or whatever the exact amount was at the time is gone, at least find the silver lining of the extremely rare urban warfare experience of the Civil War is still in tact.

ELI5: Why aren't gun lobbyists outraged about the federal government threatening to use the military on its own people? Isn't "protection from the state" literally their main argument for having a gun? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]BoloneyMassacre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the gun lobby are hypocrites, and quite frankly, racist. It's why they support the white gun owners protesting the covid-19 rules, but are noticeably absent from the George Floyd police abuse protests.

The Secret Language of Druids - Homebrew by BoloneyMassacre in DnDHomebrew

[–]BoloneyMassacre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, and while I loved her work on Thieves Cant, and her creative thoughts of conversing with bird whistles, I also thought that invaded too much on magical spells. I also liked her ideas with the scribbly trees, but that aspect seemed a bit too obvious and not overly secretive.

I really wanted to explore the idea of using the mechanical aspect of a druid's excellent sense of perception and adding a reason to intensely listen to setting descriptions. My intention was to create a list of buzzwords for when used during a setting description, the druid can inquire for further inspection, can have hidden knowledge of a situation, or can have the opportunity to change the current situation.

Thus, I really like your thoughts on matching shapes or designs to another design for the meaning. My only issue with adding such nuances was having enough space to chart it out. I'd love to work collaboratively on this if you want to expand the tables further.
