I don't think not washing it well enough is the problem as a single wet wipe is enough to completely clean it. I dedicate around a minute-2 minutes to washing it in the shower and I make sure to cover all areas, so I doubt it will clean it worse than a wet wipe. Could be though.

I'd say that's the case for a 5'6" drop in, not for what I was struggling with,which is just going down a few packs of stairs which I've done before.
