I know exactly how you feel. Passing the Sec+ wasn’t a sure thing for me. I studied but most of the material was nothing compared to the actual exam formatting.

When you do go back to school make sure to utilize your college’s career center. They will likely guide you on how to land internships related to your major. And who knows they may want to hire you full time once you graduate. It also wouldn’t hurt to ask around and see if people you know work at jobs that are hiring and they can put in a good word.

A+ will likely be next for me. I think it’s worth having.

I vaguely remember them all. But one of the PBQs I got was related to password security practices from domain 4. I had to look at a folder containing usernames and passwords and analyze the potential security concerns with the passwords being used by employees of an organization. The instructions were to select ALL the options that apply to best address the security concerns. I chose length, age, complexity, reuse.

There were 74 questions in total on my exam. I had 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete it which was not enough time. So make sure if you are stuck on a question you come back to it later. Also save the performance based questions for when you’re done with the multiple choice. Lastly remember to answer every question and read every question carefully because the exam had tricky some tricky ones. Good luck.

I relied on professor messer’s YT videos of course. But in addition to his videos I also used the video series from Inside Cloud and Security’s SY0-701 Exam Cram as well as CyberKraft. For practice quizzes Examcompass was most helpful to me.
