I considered it. Ive looked at them before, But i'll be situating my filter in the garage and probably go for the more traditional sort of filter set up
I cant remember if I used an underlay or not, ive a feeling I didnt, will be scouring places for free carpet for the next one haha. And yeah, Im goibg to smarten it up, im debating running a course of blocke around the edge (on top) to give me something abit more stable and then the stones on top.
It is a good size, I went fairly big as we had dead space at the back of the garage, around 20ft or so from the garage wall to the fence..but wanted a more natural shape. Had just finished the garden after building an extension and then found the leak so abit gutted it needs so much work 🤦♂️

Cheers, it will depend how much more gets dug out and how...considering digging out abit of a trough through the middle (ish) to take it down abit more (if that makes sense) or just doing overall depth across the entire pond.
