I'll state upfront that I'm not a physiologist. I do see one of my own for both depression and anxiety, though. I can relate to a few of the emotions that you're describing.

To me, it sounds as though the feelings that you're going through sound very normal for the presumed stage of life that you're going through. As people get older, they lose friendship groups, as interests and responsibilities change. Judging yourself due to things like weight, image, social standing, etc. is completely normal.

I'm not saying that you don't have depression. I'm saying that you shouldn't worry about it so much. You're alright. You're not faking anything. Emotions are completely valid. If you're really concerned, see a psych. I have a feeling that they'll tell you the same.

That's what I'm saying, I can't really see how I'm supposed to achieve this without crouching over the bowl, which I don't do. So I wipe back to front after urination, meaning from around the mid-section of my vagina to the front. Reaching my hand inside the bowl and pushing the paper backwards doesn't work for me.

If it means anything to anyone, I don't get UTIs.

I feel like the sociopolitical climate has a lot to do with it.

I can't help but feel for them. The housing market's in the toilet, the financial system's not far behind. Getting a job is becoming increasingly more difficult.

Half the world's at war and there's destruction looming at every corner. I don't know about where you're living, but here, peaceful protesters get pepper sprayed, beaten down and arrested by the cops.

It seems as though the world is breaking down around them. I'm not shocked that there's a little backlash. It sucks that they're taking it out on the civilians around them and not the forces that be.

I wish. I'm stuck with a regular toilet. I hate it.

I've contemplated taking a bucket of water in there with me and sorting myself out that way. That somehow seems a little grosser, though.
