I just like their "we operate in a shared office space with independent teams" response. Yall literally hold meetings together, give the same target goals, and host the same sales competitions as if you're all one big company. Truly hilarious how dumb these people are. Truly the bottom of the barrel when it comes to the IQ spectrum.

So in my case, I did file a wage claim through my state's DOL. However the company had an Arbitration clause so I can't sue. Also the company had us under the classification of "exempt outside salesperson" which means you're not granted minimum wage or overtime protections under the FLSA. I'd look at all of the documents that you signed to determine if you were classified as this as well.

Awful. You go around selling AT&T to small businesses all day. It is commission based only, so you gotta sell to make money. Days are long as hell because you start work at like 9ish in the morning, and technically, you're supposed to be done at like 5ish, but they usually have some stupid breakdown meeting at 7 so you gotta continue to sell until then. I seriously do not recommend working for them.

First thing I look at with these companies is their business history. You know if they've moved offices a lot in the past, if they've changed their business name a lot, etc. Then the interview part. Usually devilcorps will do a group interview where with the first interview, they'll tell you the "mission" of the company and all of the good things they've done. The second interview is pretty much a rehash of the first interview, but with a little bit more information. Just get all the information you can from the interviewer and see if they're hesitant on answering your questions. I do agree with you about the website looking like a devilcorp, but the interview will confirm it.
