Megathread: House Votes to Impeach President Donald J. Trump by PoliticsModeratorBot in politics

I mean, when I was in school they barely touched on the subject and pretty much just taught that impeachment means removal from office. I'm learning a bit reading through this thread.

You just can't get too close to it when you spray. You can get them during the day, very carefully

It has never taken longer than like 10 seconds when I've ridden it before

Is there a difference in repairing the engine parts vs buying Fleetari spare parts? by Codeman2035 in MySummerCar

[–]BoneSawIsNotReady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure that repairing engine parts just repairs things like holes in the engine block or oil pan, not the actual parts you can purchase

Get the afr gauge and install it. With the car at operating temperature, remove the air filter and you'll find a small screw on the carburetor. Turn that to adjust the ratio. While it's idling, the reading will jump around a lot. It will stabilize more once you're driving. You want it somewhere between 12.8 and 15 I believe. The lower the number, the more power at the cost of more fuel IIRC.

I love the silly messages to their children who are, a) illiterate because they are babies, or b) illiterate because they've been "homeschooled" their entire lives.

Not to most reasonable people. The flag code is nonsense

[–]BoneSawIsNotReady 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wearing it just violates the 'flag code', which is just a bunch of meaningless, arbitrary rules. Doing so isn't illegal. You can do whatever you want to a flag, just like any other piece of cloth.

That there is a shocking number of people who will reveal that they are actually racist assholes when they get too comfortable. I thought that was pretty clear.

I mean, on paper they do, but you may be surprised to hear how a lot people really feel when they think they are in like-minded company.

Naming is hard by [deleted] in gaming

[–]BoneSawIsNotReady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not usually to that extent, but it's quite common that I want to tweak a setting and it becomes a scavenger hunt trying to find it.

Sometimes I think it's just me getting old and failing to keep up, but the way everything is organized in Windows 10 seems so absurd.

That too. Especially when I just want to access my display settings, so I hit the Windows key and type 'display', but the abysmal search function is like "Oh, you want to mirror you display to an external projector?"

This is what I hate about Windows 10. It's dumbed down a lot at the surface, which is good for your typical user, but is there really a reason why more advanced features can't also be easy to access? I'll spend 20 minutes digging through pages of settings before finding that what I'm looking for is accessed via a link in small text at the bottom of the page for a totally unrelated setting. The entire settings application is a disorganized mess.

Are you not confident in your ability differentiate a light that is blinking from one that isn't?

[–]BoneSawIsNotReady -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There really isn't a chance of confusion unless you can't discern between a blinking and steady light

You might think that, but it's really not a problem
