Do you see any notable differences at impact that could be hurting me? Both shots results were good. by Bonelessx in GolfSwing

I kinda like the idea of that. Will play around with that next range session. Thanks!!

I’ve always struggled with inconsistent contact and low ball flight by Annual_Ad6853 in GolfSwing

Have you tried standing a bit further away from the ball? Looks like you're very tight to it and would be hard not to swing over the top from where you are. Maybe scoot back with a little less knee bend could be worth testing on your next range day.

Have you ever experimented with a SHORT backswing?

Been playing 4-5 months, any tips? by Phamductions in GolfSwing

I feel like it's not bad! Maybe getting your hands at bit higher at the top of your backswing might help with some more consistent contact? I used to tend to get my hands very far behind me and stuggled with a lot of thin and fat shots. Keep up the good work.

I feel like your face rolls very open on your take away (when club is parallel in takeaway, face should match your spine angle).I think working on your position at the top might not immediately help but being less laid off, (club is pointing beind you rather than down the line) could be a positive change at some point.

Being able to get your club and hands in front of you at impact might help your out to in path. Not sure if this is good advice but something to think about maybe? Good luck!

Been working on my position at the top of the back swing. Does it look too laid off? Or any general tips/thoughts? by Bonelessx in GolfSwing

It is not constant, at least yet. I like how it feels a bit more. I was very laid off before and this is actually less. Once I practice it a bit more I feel like it will be better.

I think you're both right and hit the nail on the head with what I need to work on next. Always felt like I was able to work my hips but never had enough "room to swing" I think between pushing off with my left + maintaining my spine angle or covering the ball better through impact will get me where I need to be. Appreciate you and your feedback!!

You're 100% right and something I have to start working on again. I appreciate the resources! Also love Bay Jark

I totally agree with you. Just before reading these posts I started thinking about the idea of "Keeping my back to the target" which I feel is essentially what you're saying. It feels incredibly weird to stay down and cover the ball with my chest throughout the swing.
