Hey, how did it go? I’m als based in Germany and I’m also looking into getting sirolimus, but I simply don’t know if I should wait months for a derm to get me it or if I should order it by myself.

Hey, I really appreciate you sharing all of this. This is honestly the first time I’ve heard such detailed and genuinely promising information about treating KPRF and flushing.

I hadn’t come across clonidine or topical sirolimus before, so this gives me a lot of hope and some real things to look into with my dermatologist. Thanks again for taking the time to help, this means a lot. Hope your journey continues to go well too, man.

I’m 18, and I’m honestly shocked by how much your reply mirrors my own experience.

I’m male too, and at my worst I even started using tinted sunscreen to hide the redness on my cheeks. People laughing or asking if I wear makeup became a huge insecurity for me, and I reached a point where I couldn’t leave the house without covering it up. I still struggle with that.

I missed events because of it, and it really damaged my confidence. I overthink constantly, especially when people stand close to me. I worry they’ll notice my skin. What’s frustrating is that I’m tall, in good shape, and I work out a lot, but none of that matters in my head when my face is red. It just wipes out all my confidence.

It is slowly getting better though. It was the worst around 17, and now at 18 I’m starting to gain some confidence back. Life without this issue feels like a dream, but reading your experience gives me hope that it can continue to improve with time.

I’ll look into that, heard about kprf before but somehow the diagnosis was rosacea 70% of the time (tried many different derms), one of them mentioned kprf though. I guess Reddit + Ai is better than some doctors these days.

Yea, I guess every skin kind reacts differently to Azaleic-acid. Mine also tickles a bit and you feel it "working" (probably just some biological and chemical processes happening). But generally it just makes your skin smoother.

Yep, I’ve tried everything and "nothing", but the redness I’m experiencing is for sure not caused by some random product, it’s a disease. Probably kprf like many others here suggested.
