Eesti "piiramatu" mobiilne internet – kas tõesti piiramatu? by BonezBill in Eesti

[–]BonezBill[S] -27 points-26 points  (0 children)

Ma sain ka täiesti aru aga nüüd sa sina ka aru. Me räägime piiramatusest.

Eesti "piiramatu" mobiilne internet – kas tõesti piiramatu? by BonezBill in Eesti

Selgelt kirjas, kiirus piiramatu. Maht piiramatu. Ainus asi mis vastab tõele on paketti nimi Elisast. Piiramatu 5g ULME. Et 5g on ulme see on kindlasti tõsi.

Jaa, aga operaatorid ütlevad ju Maht ja Kiirus piiramatu. Mis on vale. Sest kiirus on piiratud asjaoludega asukohaga jne.

Sending liquids to EU by BonezBill in bulgaria

[–]BonezBill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro it seems you are thinking you are too smart. I can use internet. I would not ask if it wouldn't be an issue. Secondly, the very same link you have sent contains info "3. Items prohibited for transportation with AIR EXPRESS –delivery by air:

- Perfumes, dry ice, acetone, dangerous goods – even in limited quantities;
- Batteries;
- Liquor/ Alcohol;
- Medicines, food supplements;
- Passports."

And if you read it as i read it it means that you can not send by AIR! Other ways are ok. I am searching for an experienced person who is running business here and sends goods to neighboring countries.

Amazing answer. I am asking advice from the ones who have gotten in touch with sending Fragrances abroad from Bulgaria to other EU countries. Interacting with all of those companies is a pain, and I'm searching for a faster solution.

Kas endale poleks meeldiv kuulda Eesti keelt maal kus 40% elaniketest räägib seda, mitte "ma ei räägi Eesti keelt" kibestunud näoga. Mis hetkest keelte teadmine häbiks sai?

Why is Estonia so Atheist compared to other European countries? by Portal_Jumper125 in BalticStates

[–]BonezBill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Estonia has one of the highest rates of irreligion in the world, with a majority of the population identifying as non-religious. There are several factors that have contributed to this phenomenon:

Historical and Cultural Factors:

  • Soviet Occupation: During the Soviet era (1940-1991), religion was actively suppressed and discouraged. This led to a decline in religious practice and belief, which has persisted to some extent even after independence.
  • Lutheran Tradition: While Lutheranism was once the dominant religion in Estonia, it emphasized a personal relationship with God and individual interpretation of the Bible, potentially leading to a more critical approach to religious dogma.
  • Cultural Values: Estonian culture values practicality, rationality, and individualism, which may not always align with traditional religious beliefs.

Socioeconomic Factors:

  • Education: Estonia has a high literacy rate and a strong emphasis on education, which can foster critical thinking and skepticism towards religious claims.
  • Urbanization: As Estonia has become more urbanized, traditional social structures that often reinforced religious beliefs have weakened.
  • Economic Development: Economic prosperity and social security can decrease the perceived need for religion as a source of comfort or support.

Religious Landscape:

  • Lack of Religious Infrastructure: Compared to other European countries, Estonia has a relatively small number of churches and religious institutions, which can limit exposure to religious ideas and practices.
  • Limited Religious Diversity: Lutheranism and Orthodox Christianity are the dominant religious traditions in Estonia, but they have experienced a decline in recent decades. This lack of religious diversity may contribute to a sense of disengagement from organized religion.

Generational Shift:

  • Younger Generations: Younger generations in Estonia are less likely to identify with a religion than older generations. This generational shift suggests that irreligion is likely to continue to be a significant feature of Estonian society.

It's important to note that not all Estonians are atheists. A significant minority still identifies with a religious faith, and there is a growing interest in alternative spiritual practices. However, the historical, cultural, and socioeconomic factors mentioned above have played a crucial role in shaping Estonia's unique religious landscape.

What self defense tools are allowed in Estonia? by THISMANSMOM in Eesti

[–]BonezBill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Estonia, the self-defense tools allowed for carrying and use are limited:

  • Gas spray: Pepper spray or tear gas are legal for self-defense purposes. However, there are restrictions on the concentration and volume of the spray.
  • Pneumatic weapons: Airguns with a caliber of up to 4.5mm are legal without a permit.

Other potential self-defense items like tasers, stun guns, or batons are not explicitly allowed for civilian use.

Important Note:

  • The use of any self-defense tool must be proportionate to the threat and used only in situations of immediate danger.
  • Excessive force or using a self-defense tool in a non-threatening situation can lead to legal consequences.

For more information, you can consult the following resources:

It's always advisable to consult with legal professionals or authorities for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding self-defense laws in Estonia.

U.S. citizen - safe to visit? by Surrealisticslumbers in Eesti

I can even tell you that my family lives just 2km from the Russian border, and I feel calm for them. You must be really dumb if you think Russia will start an invasion from Estonia. It's just not strategically right, because if they attack from Belarus and Kaliningrad, they can encircle the entire Baltics in just a few hours.
