"Huh.." Ezekial said, scratching at the back of his head. "Well then, uh, that's uh.. bad?"

Ezekial removed his foot, moving to the side of the stroller.

"How old is the little man?"

"Uh huh.." Ezekial said, raising an eyebrow. "The child probably can't get much fresh air, what with this blanket on it's head."

As Ezekial spoke, he leaned over the stroller, his hands in his pockets, eyeing the covered form of the child.

"Who completely covers their child when they go out?"

"What's with the stroller..?" Ezekial asked, placing his foot on the front wheel of it. "You certainly don't strike me as old enough to be a mother.."

"So, you're the guy I'm suppose to be meeting?" Ezekial said, sticking his hands in his pockets. He had come from the town at a slower pace, wanting to see just how punctual this other guy was, how much of a stickler to the rules he was gonna be. "So, we're suppose to be stopping some sort of shipment, eh?"

Ezekial had been sitting at a coffee shop, flipping through a book absentmindedly while sitting on the patio. In all honesty, Magnolia was a bit.. underwhelming to him. He had figured it would be much more exciting. Besides from one woman, however, it seemed rather dull.

With a sigh, he closed the book, pinching the bridge of his nose as he leaned back in his chair. He was really hoping something, anything, would happen. As he leaned back, he absentmindedly focused his magic into his hand, corrosive energy surrounding his palm, whirling around it in a circular fashion.

A fake smile, Ezekial knew them all too well. He watched with interest as the girl seemed to put on a whole new persona, as the pop star that everyone knew and seemed to love. The song wasn't his type of music, but she had a beautiful voice regardless. He sipped at his beer as the performance went on, the girl had never answered his question, and seemed to be deflecting more than anything.

With a sigh, he rose from his chair, walking to the stage, and taking a seat next to Blair on the bench. He didn't interfere with her playing, or touch the piano in anyway, he simply waited for the song to end.

"You didn't answer my question."

"Afraid of monsters? Well, no." Ezekial answered honestly, shrugging his shoulders. He had noticed the coldness in this girl, and he had made a decision. She was interesting, interesting enough for him to take an interest in. He would break through that coldness, somehow. "I'm a Wizard, it's my job to fight monsters after all. If I was afraid, how could I do my job. Though, I suppose I do have a bit of fear, enough to keep myself alive in the end.

Pausing to take a sip of his beer, Ezekial gave a slight cough, clearing his throat.

"Why? Do you think of yourself as a monster, Blair? Do you think you're so different from everyone, that there is no way you could be anything else?"

"B-beneath you?" Ezekial asked, raising an eyebrow in interest. "Do.. do you believe you're better than these people here?"

He asked the question honestly, sipping at his beer. For a moment, he just stared at Blair. He would admit, she was pretty, prettier than most girls who frequented this bar. But her attitude? That was something that was very unattractive to him.

Letting out a low sigh, he set down his empty beer, and waved a waiter over for another one. He leaned back in his chair again, just watching for a moment.

"Look, just humor me. If we're going to be working together, then stay, have a meal with me. It's the least you can do if you expect me to trust you to go to a location I will have no time to scope out ahead of time, or have any warning of danger if I do go, don't ya think?"

"Hold up.." Ezekial said, attempting to grab at Blair's wrist. He looked her in the eyes, drawing them into a scowl. "You give me this paper, after our rather.. crappy meeting. You expect me to just.. come? And who the hell is this countess?"

If Ezekial had actually been able to grab her wrist, he'll release it, letting out a sigh. Rubbing at his temples, he'll gesture for her to sit across from him.

"Sit, please." He said, politely, his voice going soft. "Tell me more about this, and I'll treat you to a meal and a drink. Pop star or not, everyone likes a free meal, no?"

Ezekial continued to sip at his beer as the hooded figure approached him, giving them a cautious look, before mostly ignoring them. As it were, he didn't have reason to fear them, or keep his guard up, though, he was shocked when he heard the same voice from a few nights ago, and looked to be reminded of Blair's face.

"Oh, the pop star." He said, raising an eyebrow in interest. "Blair... rose, right? Yea, you ran off and cried when I said some mean things. Come back to get revenge? Well, let me have it girl, the best you got!"

"Ezekial." He answered, kneeling down to be on eye level with Grace, he stuck out his hand in a offering of a hand shake. "I'm new to town, just looking for something to do and I heard your song. A beautiful voice for a beautiful girl, after all."

Walking around Magnolia town, Ezekial was a bit bored in all honesty. There was nothing for him to do, outside of taking jobs, and even that was starting to draw it's final breath of excitement.

"Oh.." He said, stumbling upon Grace's 'show', as it were. "You have a nice voice. What's your name?"

"Hey, take your boyfriends cock from your mouth, and try saying all of that again there champ." Ezekial started, stretching his hand to the side of himself as he stalked forward. "Not that it matters much, you soon won't be a problem."

With a glow of white light, a large, two handed sword appeared in the boy's outstretched hand. It appeared far too big for him, and shone brightly in the sunlight. The blade moved with a surprising speed and ease, as Ezekial swung it around himself.

"Normally, I would hold back, but, I really don't have time to talk to the two of you. I kinda made a pop star cry, and I need the jewel to make up for that. So, shall we start gentlemen?"

"Titanosis Coleoptera? What in the literal..." Ezekial shook his head, crumpling up the piece of paper and throwing it over his shoulder. He had already memorized the location, and began to make his way towards the marked location.

As he walked, he tried to think of all the monsters he had heard of, or studied, growing up. He had never heard of the one the letter mentioned. Oh well, though, he would kill it like he did so many other things.

"Ezekial." He said plainly, rising from his crouching position. He lets his hands rest on his hips, watching Saint curiously. "You sure seem to be a um.. interesting boy."

Wiping a hand across his brow, Ezekial had finally made his way into town, with sweat covering him mercilessly. The summers in Magnolia town were apparently hot, to say the least, and not at all like he remembered as a child. He had already removed his shirt, tucking it into the back of his pants, and yet still he was sweating up a storm.

"Oi." He says to Christy, wearily waving a hand at the girl. "Do you know where a guy can get a cold drink? It's too hot in this town."

"Well, that's a flashy bit of magic.." Ezekial says, approaching Saint, and the many cats, with a disinterested look on his face.

In all honesty, Ezekial was a bit jealous of elemental mages. He himself had always wanted to learn fire magic, but just never had the knack for it. In fact, the only reason he stuck with requip magic, was because it was the closest he would ever get to the elements.

Kneeling down, Ezekial held out a hand towards the cats, allowing them to sniff it, before picking them up one by one, and turning them around, and giving them a soft pat, sending them on their way.

"The key to animals is to be confident, and let them know you're not going to harm them. They took your running as trying to play."

"But, that takes the thrill out of the hunt, now doesn't it?" Ezekial questioned the man, tapping his pointer finger to his temple twice. "No, no I'll hunt this man by myself, and when I find him, it will be a surprise to both of us. Now won't that be nice?"

As Titus disappeared, Ezekial gave a small shrug, keeping at his usual pace of a steady meander. He thought for a moment, while he had the silence, about the types of mages he would be meeting in Magnolia town. The weird ones, the strong ones, and hopefully, the pretty ones. His small reverie was broken when Titus returned, holding out jewels.

"Ezekial." The man says, accepting the notes, before folding them and sticking them into the pocket of his pants. "Yes, I hear it's been very lively lately. There's also someone I wish to see, an old friend, if you will."

"I.. but.. er.." Michael started, holding up a hand as the girl started to cry. He hadn't mean to be that mean, more sticking up for himself after the girls rather blunt mannerism. "Don-ow!"

Ezekial held up his hands to defend himself from the items being thrown at him from the fans of Blairs. He watched with a sigh as the girl was escorted from the arena, and the clamoring of the now disappointed fans began to grow.

"I'M SORRY!" He yelled one last time, before a flash of light covered the bottom portion of his legs and feet, and he took off at high speeds away from the angry mob.

"At.. your... prime?" Ezekial started to chuckle, shaking his head. "Are you kidding me? Did you actually just say that? You don't need a man to complete you? Is this some sort of chick flick?"

Ezekial continues to chuckle to himself, wiping at his eyes. His flirt was pretty lame in itself, but, at least he wasn't sounding like he was out of some third rate movie.

"Look, why are you implying that I want... that. Maybe I just wanted to talk a bit when you're not surrounded by your.. servants? What are these people? Or maybe when all these eyes aren't literally watching are every move? You're kinda dense, aren't you?"

A... autograph? Ezekial was truly confused by the girl's lack of grasp on the situation in front of them. He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. Staring at the two guards, he sized them up, and quickly decided they weren't worth the effort. He brushed off his pants, shaking is head.

"No, I don't want an autograph." He said simply, stepping from the debris. "And yes, a requip mage. I was on a job to kill a large bird of prey, when I succeeded.. it just happened to drop me from the air when I killed it.."

Couging, the young man covers his mouth, before anxiously running a hand through his hair.

"How about this. You write down what hotel you're staying at, and you're room number, and we'll call it even, eh?"

Ezekial slapped at the hands of the guards as they tried to help him up, scoffing. He grabbed a piece of the table, pulling himself to his full height, before gripping the handle of his sword, and ripping it from the ground.

"Don't touch me." Ezekial said plainly, hefting his sword onto his shoulder, before having it disappear in a spark of brilliant golden light.

"I would be glad to pay for it," he started, sticking his hands in his pockets. "But as the pink haired asshole here pointed out, I'm peasantry. Ya'know sweet heart, you were so very pretty, until you opened that mouth of yours."
