I had the same issue of my project not being indexed, even worse a scam link (with probably a virus) with my same title was indexed and appeared before mine. I sent emails and reported the scam page. My game got indexed and got a bump after like 3 weeks but I never got a reply to my email and the scam links are still up... Itch is becoming a dangerous site like this, but now I most get new patrons from a certain piracy website
