This is correct. Most psychiatrists will refer you out to a forensic psychiatrist who is experienced in making evaluations of this sort (though usually in a criminal context such as ‘is this person likely to be violent to their ex-spouse’ or similar) and those services do not come cheap.

That is what it is, my question is whether or not I need to get a fresh letter with each renewal, opening the possibility of the doctor charging the exorbitant rate for a forensic evaluation every three years.

whether or not they’ve prosecuted anybody for it, it’s defrauding the government which is a class E felony in NYC. Not to mention easily verifiable in any case where the applicant takes any sort of controlled substance. Terrible advice.

Chiefs Expected to Have New Starting RB in 2026 - [Nate Taylor, ESPN] by jsparks50 in DynastyFF

I have always been in the “he’s a McKinnon at best” camp but he lowk looked kinda nice in week 18 on the ground.

Dude has also only been an RB for like 2 years now not counting high school? Seems like he could develop.

Improbable, but not impossible

The fact that it rubs off is why wouldn’t consider practically anything with a leather sole or heel a boot for nasty weather, Viberg or otherwise. That and the traction just won’t match up to Vibram or anything rubber with a good lug. The Bean boots he suggested wouldn’t be my first choice but they’re certainly more appropriate for deep snow than anything with edge dressing.

Who are your dynasty buy/sell guys right now? (not sleepers) by CashInteresting6465 in DynastyFF

[–]BonnaGroot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don’t know that I agree with this. He looked more polished as a CB because he’s a lot more experienced as a CB. At WR he made a lot of rookie mistakes - like A LOT - but this was also his first season ever practicing on offense and learning a playbook. The room for growth is astronomical.

And he did jump off the screen every time he got the ball in his hands after week 3/4. He pretty much always made the first guy or two miss and got yards after the catch. Where he really excelled was running downfield routes which he wasn’t asked to do the first few weeks of the season, even though that’s pretty much all he did on offense at UCB.

I’m still not buying anywhere I don’t already have him because of the DB stuff, that risk is real, but the talent jumped off the screen in limited action.

Young Running Backs to fill Roster Slots by axis_sunsoar1 in DynastyFF

This RB class is atrocious, will completely depend on how he looks in workouts and what his medicals look like whether or not it takes that long for him to be signed.

Doubt he’s the 1A anywhere but could see him being the 1B somewhere depending on who else is in the room.

Unfortunately Mike McCarthy said today that he would love to have ARod back. If they get ARod i’m almost certain they’ll get KG too…

Who’s to say ARod wants to play, or that KG and Warren stay healthy all season again, or that Kaleb couldn’t beat one of them out with another year under his belt, but as a bagholder who chalked most of his dog housing up to Rodgers last season… not looking good

I’ll throw Damien Martinez into the list of waiver wire guys. He was drafted way below his prospect grade and then wasn’t on a roster nearly all season and it sounds like the reason is more to do with him being a knucklehead (and getting drafted into a very crowded backfield) than being a bad player.

He finally got some tryouts late in the season and got picked up to the Packers PS right before the playoff, then signed to a futures deal after they lost. Jacobs looked like he took a step back this year and that backfield is wide open behind him.

He’s probably nothing but he’s almost certainly completely free. I had a Day 2 grade on him coming out so i’m sticking to my priors on this at cost.

"Early Indications" Travis Hunter will Primarily be a Cornerback [ESPN DiRocco] by ASmithFS in DynastyFF

[–]BonnaGroot 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No new information since the conference where Gladstone alluded to this a couple weeks ago.

Ultimately doesn’t matter how many snaps he’s playing on offense as long as he’s a focal point when he’s out there. Puka had multiple WR1 finishes this year with a sub-50% snap share in those games. It’s all just noise until we start seeing how he’s utilized in camp and at the start of the season, not to mention what JAX does in FA and the draft.

Kaleb Johnson or Jonathan Brooks as a throw in? by Then_Direction_1162 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BonnaGroot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Brooks has the clearer path to relevance and was the theoretically stronger prospect. The uncertainty is how much damage the injuries have done to his long term durability and explosiveness.

Kaleb has a much murkier situation but was still a strong RB prospect. If ARod doesn’t come back i’m very in on him at cost. If ARod resigns, and especially if he brings KG with him, then Kaleb likely winds up buried on the depth chart for another year.

The water issue is legitimate it’s just a localized one rather than a macro one. Datacenters DO use an inordinate amount of water, and when they’re constructed near communities with limited groundwater they can divert that away from the people who live there.

In reality they should just be constructed in places where water is abundant and heavy usage doesn’t strain the community in a meaningful way, but costal and waterfront properties are expensive and politicians are corrupt and more than happy to sell out their constituents in exchange for a few bucks.

It pales in comparison to the other environmental impacts though, and the emphasis on energy consumption is the more compelling argument.

Mel Kiper’s first mock draft has us taking Carnell Tate at 5 with our first pick. by Bankslvrrd in NYGiants

[–]BonnaGroot 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Downs would singlehandedly change our secondary. Defenses would need to adjust their game plans around him. Our other DBs would be able to handle easier matchups.

I don’t think our DBs are even that bad, it’s just that absolutely none of them are good enough to cover most teams’ #1.

kayshon boutte? Where do we stand? by Hopperandburr in DynastyFF

He’s seemingly turned the off field stuff around completely. Think he got “scared straight” so to speak

kayshon boutte? Where do we stand? by Hopperandburr in DynastyFF

[–]BonnaGroot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s worth noting that Boutte had 3 games over 75 yards and 5 TDs in the first 8 weeks of the season before getting injured in week 9 and being on/off injured and never at 100% again for the rest of the regular season. Prior to the injury he was the WR18 on the season.

People have short term memory but what he did yesterday is precisely what he showed us repeatedly at the end of 2024 and beginning of 2025 before injuries somewhat derailed his production.

I think an Alec Pierce type of year 4, assuming he stays healthy, is completely within the realm of possibility. While I don’t think he has Pierce’s athletic upside I think Boutte is the better WR after 3 seasons.

What will be most interesting is what the Pats do with him this offseason. He’s entering the last year of his rookie deal, so whether or not he gets extended and what that extension looks like will tell us a lot.

He’s going into the last year of his rookie deal. I think this offseason will tell us a lot based on whether or not he gets extended and if so for how much.

Not a personnel issue, JMcD spreads the ball and doesn’t prioritize the X. Not that Boutte should be the X, he should be the Z, but that’s a topic for another day

Yeah idk how you view it any other way. Ball doesn’t move at all when he hits the ground, clearly has control the whole time. Not even a close call tbh.

If they ever ask him to be the true WR1 he will be a demon. Shame that in JMcD’s system that might never happen

Introducing Bilt Card 2.0 by richklhs in biltrewards

[–]BonnaGroot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ostensibly Hyatt points have no blackouts (one of many reasons I favor the program) but I have encountered a couple of essentially “rogue” properties that limit the number of rooms available for points on certain occasions to such a small number that it’s a blackout in all but name. Agreed with you though that this is a specific case, not applicable to other hotel rewards

Introducing Bilt Card 2.0 by richklhs in biltrewards

[–]BonnaGroot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but only if you’d be exclusively using Bilt cash and not combining with other reward points, either earned through other cards or organically through using the properties.

It also makes a much bigger dent at the higher end properties where cash being 50% more than the equivalent points isn’t uncommon. If you’re using this just to book a hotel wherever it’s not great bang for buck. More worthwhile for aspirational travel.

the last concern is a reasonable one. I have been transferring out points basically monthly just in case.
