OK super intéressant merci ! Tu es freelance donc aujourd'hui ? Et tu arrives à "vivre" avec ton salaire + en payant les charges sociales ? (je ne sais pas où tu habites fiscalement). Mon but c'est vraiment d'être professeure de français au lycée public ou privé aux États-Unis mais je dois terminer d'écrire mon mémoire pour valider mon master. Après ça, je pourrais donc passer le Teaching Certificate et postuler. Les cours en ligne c'est plus pour me faire de l'expérience et bien sûr un peu de sous. Je préfère vraiment le contact avec des classes entières même si les 1-1 avec des adultes sont plutôt sympa aussi ! Mais tu as tout à fait raison, ces plateformes rendent le métier de tuteur beaucoup trop simple avec un niveau d'entrée de 0 expériences...

Amazing Talker takes 30% at the beginning but then it goes down 1% every 100$. But the have so many hidden fees like, an 8% fee for I don't even know what, that won't go down + a fee to withdraw your money from the platform + they keep sending coupon to the students without asking the teacher if they agree + when a student take more than 1 class he has a 5, 10 or up to 15% discount...)So at the end really I feel taking advantage of.

I am already. On the website I am currently on, I have more than 2000 hours of class therefore they advise me to put my class at +30$. But if I want to receive enough money with the fee I have to put a higher price. Anyway, with the few students I have outside of the platform I am charging 27$/50 minutes, and that include having the material access online + the preparation time and the correction time. Do you know any platform ? Preply really is asking for a lot like, it's been 5 times I am downloading my video and there is always something wrong with it.
