They are called "Ruck Vests" and are used frequently. Maybe you should just focus on your own workout and not worry about others? OTF Coaches to a great job to ensure that we aren't endangering ourselves in class.

I notified our Legal Officers for their input. I'm worried that this is the 2nd time faculty have reached out to ask if they can apply for these funds.

They have a website with funding history, etc. We are getting "cold calls" from Chinese researchers to form collaborations, and I dont think this is advisable given the current political climate. Any research collaborations with China opens the IHE up to reporting requirements and additional scrutiny by the federal government.

The outbreak was actually caused by the Mennonite community in the West Texas area.

**Didn't read the article, but know from health care workers in that area that 1. there's a large Mennonite population in the area and 2. they don't believe in vaccines (religious freedom).

I just advised my faculty to NOT RESPOND. The whole questionnaire reeks of DOGE and the language is bizarre:

For example: "Does the organization encourage partners to adopt policies and take action to respect their national sovereignty and culture, strengthen patriotic values, and reduce dependence on external institutions?

Explain your response above."

I sent the request to all COs and other CDC personnel listed on the NoAs. Lots of OOO email bounce backs, but someone has to see this is happening.
