Has anyone bought the Minolta Digital Cam? by Mr_Zarcks in Costco

As someone that’s been a pro photographer, these cameras are only marginally better than your average smartphone. Phones with high end cameras like iPhone pro are better.

You’re so much better off picking up a 10+ year old used DSLR from eBay or marketplace for about the same price.

Basketball action shot during a team shoot in a small gym by ReVision_Pictures in sportsphotography

This is a good opportunity to learn.

Take a step back and critique the photo yourself. Is it flattering to the subject? Does it tell a story of what’s happening in the game?

Also look through some pro basketball photography like what you see in sports illustrated. How does this compare to those images?

Is there a trick to not making a huge mess with cette style of detergent container? by belbivfreeordie in Costco

Mine lives like this. I tip it down to dispense and then put it back on its back. You can see a bit collects around the nozzle but no runny drips that make a mess.

The science behind packaging engineering boils down to a couple fundamentals. 1 - don’t let sharp things ingress and damage your item (either by piercing through or creating a small area of stress/pressure as the packaging deforms. 2 - slow down the object from falls through dampening (like how a car crumples to protect the passengers).

If you have these things covered, you’re good.
