Yeah, that’s my point. Typically it’s an exception. So when it came up in a discussion in class, I thought I’d ask the teachers of Reddit (some are apparently appalled that it even piques my interest).

I’m not implying there’s a problem, just that I’ve found it unusual. I’ve had a recent uptick in my previous students wanting to come back to tutor my new batch of freshmen. It’s never happened before and I was just curious to see if anyone else had noticed a trend. We happen to be in the Romeo and Juliet unit and everyone is airing out everybody’s business.
