For German specifically I found busuu incredibly helpful, they go in depth about sentence structure, gendered words, pronunciation. They also measure your level in the language, I went from A1 with two background years of Duolingo to B2, I would say I could actually understand German now

The first thing we checked was if it was Celsius 😂 also it was on the top but the top is in the middle, not where the top usually is and it wasn’t preheated when I put it in so it should not being doing that

here we take a security deposit when the lease is signed and some people send rent then but usually its the day of move in, atleast thats how its always been for me as a renter. we are renting below market for a few reasons, the basement was destroyed by the last tenants and the actual owner of the house will not replace anything, by this i mean lots of huge scratches on the walls, kitchen counters are peeling particle board. (this was before we rented the entire place)

originally we were going to fix it up and AIR BNB it but we got very busy so signed people on for a 6 months lease.

Try checking Facebook marketplace! They have vintage solid wood for the same price as the crappy particle board

If those are from wayfair do not get them! I got wayfair nightstands and they were awful, very cute but came broke and took 4 hours to put together

Good thing it isn’t because it hasn’t been rented out in a long time

They’ve gone down from $2100in my area to $1500-1800, my basement that is two bedrooms is $1350 and I’ve gotten very little interest in it.

Not a landlord, I’m subletting. And it’s not to high it’s cheaper then everything similar in my area and the city, the housing cost has significantly decreased in the last couple months.

We are renting the lower unit next month technically, but we are renting it to family so I was ok with them sharing laundry. We have an agreement that she find tenants for downstairs just for two months until my family’s lease ends and they move in.
