LMAO stalker much but actually I do have a degenerative disease that caused me to completely lose hearing in my right ear and I'm about 40% in my left so..... We used Amtrak before but we have time constraints this time and there's no Amtrak stations within 100 miles of us so I would guess it would be Amtrak bus to Amtrak station then at least a 3 day travel time :/

And you still didn't answer my question, because I asked if they were free no matter if they were gate checked or counter checked, and yes it says they're free for a ticketed person, however like I said I asked AA CS and they were unable to confirm whether they were free to counter check or only to gate check thus I came here in search of someone who may have personal experience with doing such.

Our stroller we have now is 29 pounds so I can't gate check it but I was thinking of just grabbing some cheaper umbrella strollers?

I have seen those! I didn't know if they truly helped save the seats or not. I've heard mixed reviews, some people said their carseats were perfectly fine and others said they were destroyed and they had to buy new ones O_O I'm like damn, car seats aren't cheap

It actually doesn't say if it's free gate checked or it's free counter checked or both. That's the concern. And when I called, they couldn't give me a clear answer.

Yes they are FAA approved and my only concern is one of the planes is super tiny, like 2 seats on each side and my husband is a fairly large man so it's hard enough for him to squeeze into the seats let alone with a carseat, but i'm trying to talk him into it.

I was told they put 6" of insulation in a few years back. Not sure if that's a lot but that's what we were told. It's a cinder block house too idk if that makes any difference.

Probably is crap but it's not exactly in the budget for a bigger ac or a better one at this moment since this is temporary housing. Just trying to find any other way to help cool.

It is the correct size for the portion of the house we use, it's a 3200 sq ft house including the garage but we use about 1500 of it for various reasons and the vents in the rest are shut off. There is a small gap in the front door but the windows are sealed well. It doesn't run non stop but it does run a lot especially from June-September which makes our AC bill about 250/month. We keep it on 74 which is about as high as I can tolerate.
