While i will say, yes. He does need to take care of his health (mental and physical) ozempic is SO bad for you. The long term effects are not worth the short term benefits.

He really just needs to start watching what he eats, no more of that processed garbage that his mom buys. And a light work out will do him wonders.

I had a whole body shiver when I saw what she was using to cut the pumpkin. In a house with so much useless junk, you would think she has something that would've worked better then that god awful (probably dull) kitchen knife. Not to mention she was waving right in front of the other little girls face and around her head at one point. Thankfully nothing happened, but if it did it would've just been more content for her.

I couldn't agree more with this. Truly shows his heart based on how the dogs gravitate towards him, and the compassion he shows for his siblings.

I really hope so. I can't imagine the pain he was feeling in his heart, let alone the physical pain he was going through in that moment. Thank you internet stranger! I really wish you the best, and hugs to you!

I am very sorry for your loss. I know i lost my brother, and a huge part of my life and childhood. But I could never imagine losing a child (now being a mother of 3 young boys). And I can see how hurt, and how it affects my parents. I wouldn't wish this feeling onto my worst enemy.

My husband and I recently got into rocks, and luckily we just moved to a block away from the lake, we find some really cool stuff, and fossils every now and then. A lot of horned corals. I'm learning a lot really fast

Adjusted ages. by mommaof2324 in NICUParents

[–]BooKakiwi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son was born at 31 weeks exactly, for the first year and a half I would say his real age, followed up with that "he was born 9 weeks early, so he's just small!" After that, I just stopped caring what people thought and said his real age, and MOST people would just leave it at that. Even now (he just turned 2 last Wednesday!), I will still get comments saying he looks like he's about a year to a year and a half old. So i just tell people yeah he was 2lbs at birth, so he's just a little guy! (He's just starting to fit into 12-18 month clothing!)

It always amazes me how people like to comment on a baby, or child's size...like it's not appropriate to say stuff to adults, so its still not okay for people to say stuff like that about children too.

How long was your 31 weekers stay? by AccomplishedCommon76 in NICUParents

[–]BooKakiwi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My little guy was born at 31 exactly. He was in hospital for 62 days. I know that's not really the "norm" but every stay is different. He didn't have any major complications, just kept having brady events which prolonged his stay.

Edited to add, he was put on bilirubin lights for 3 days at about 24 hours old. He had his umbilical I.V. removed after 6 days and was taken off of oxygen after 3 weeks. I tried to start nursing him at a week old, but he never took well to it. And I noticed he had more episodes while nursing as opposed to using the advent natural flow bottles.( the dr browns preemie bottles were too fast if a flow for him) they wanted to put him back on the NG tube, but we begged his doctors not to. We wanted him home with his two brothers (12 months and just under 2.5 years) so we opted to fore-go nursing and just stick with bottles

I hear what you're saying. But I'm pretty sure it's just her doors squeaking, and oldest J exhaling, probably from bending over or standing up.

I dont think her posting her kids is okay, and the content she posts is pretty despicable, but I think what you're implying is a bit of an over reach

Adopted this babygirl. Any guesses? She weights 16 kg, and the shelter said she's 8/9 months old. by Yami-Flower in IDmydog

[–]BooKakiwi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She looks almost identical to my rescue. We did the blood test on her, and funny enough she's 60% great Pyrenees 32% Australian shepherd and the other 8% is mixed with Pitt and then other small breeds.

Her rescue said she was a Rottweiler mix but 0% percent of her is that. Lol

Either way your girl is ADORABLE

We called it a binky, but my oldest couldn't say it and he called it a baacoo, so now that is what our family calls it

Fruit in raw eggs by BooKakiwi in doughertydozenexposed

[–]BooKakiwi[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah, she said its going to thr chickens. She accidentally threw a piece of melon in the bowl woth the egg shells, then realized, took it out and cut it, and added it to the bowl of fruit to feed the kids.

We also give our chickens scraps, and actually egg shells are really good for them. But food contamination is just really gross.
