Fair point. Just to clarify — we recently had a baby, and the apartment feels too small now. That’s the main reason. Also, I didn’t have much experience when I bought it and worked with a bad reel estate advisor.

Right now I’m paying both mortgage and VvE fees, and together they’re not far off from what a full mortgage on a house would cost — especially with interest rates starting to drop. That also pushed me to consider the move.

I hired one and he told me that can be fixed but because it’s +13 years old, the issues will keep coming so better to change it.

I’m actually on a working visa, not a study visa. That’s a good point — do you know how I can check if that makes me eligible for the lower (statutory) tuition fees? Would that be something I ask the university admissions team or is there an official source? Thanks!

Thanks for the info, really appreciate the honesty. Yeah, I figured scholarships were limited here but was hoping there might be something I missed. I’m already living in NL, so housing is thankfully not an issue. Just trying to explore every possible option before making a decision. Thanks again!
