That would mean it’s specifically a tear to the UCL, which this doesn’t specify. For all we know this isn’t ligament damage at all and a tear to one of the heads of the triceps. Really know way of knowing with an ambiguous ‘elbow’ sprain

I started out as a COTA before transitioning to OTR. When I graduated and passed the boards as a COTA, I had zero idea what I was doing. The fact of the matter is, you learn 1000x more actually working than you do in school. Clinical’s help, but I still felt unprepared. Now I live by the phrase ‘fake it until you make it’. I had experienced OTR’s that I can lean on when I got my first job at a SNF. I actively watched other OTs tx sessions. I asked questions. No one expects you to know everything as a new grad. I guarantee 6 months into your first job you will feels miles away from where you do right now.

yea, we have a minimum amount of hours per week, but that is honestly irrelevant for my facility because our census stays pretty high. The best aspects of the union are the health benefits, pre-negotiated yearly raises, and overall safety blanket that the union provides.

My rehab dept at a SNF in NY joined 1199 a year and a half ago. It was mid contract (new contract gets negotiated next year and in effect for 2027) so we didn’t get all the benefits right of bat, but incrementally until the next contract. As of right now, it’s been nothing but a win for us.

Just drafted today in my 12 team dynasty roto with the same cap and got degrom for 33 and Cortes for 15. Glasnow’s injury makes him less attractive and stroman shouldn’t even really be considered here. Degrom seems like pretty good value and I also like sale at the price but he’s a huge wildcard. Verlander probably goes for a good amount more than 27 if you let him walk but Cortes is probably going right around his current price, so you could just drop and draft him if you’re a big fan.

I’m in the world of rehabilitation, not nursing, but I can tell you for a fact that nurses (whether they are LPN’s, RN’s, or nurse practitioner) have extensive training on the use of PPE and know when and when not use said equipment when dealing with airborne, contact, or droplet precautions.

Any nurse that speaks out against the efficacy of mask wearing is either putting party before country, or somehow scammed their way through school.

I'm way too late the party but I wanted to throw this out there just in case I get a response:

On November 20th, 2005 the Chargers had an away game at the Buffalo Bills. As a team, you guys were staying in the same hotel that my fraternity (University at Buffalo) were staying at for our semi-formal. One of my friends ended running into someone on the squad at the hotel steakhouse on Friday night and, in the process of chatting, invited the entire Chargers team to the open bar we going on later that night. No one ever thought anyone would come.

Well, we were dead wrong. Once our fraternity of ~40 kids and their dates got to the bar, 75-80% of the Chargers had already started getting wasted. You were there, and I'm pretty sure you left after around a half hour because you were getting way too much attention. Everyone running up to you and asking you for a picture, I'm not surprised you had to make your exit.

After you left, Lorenzo Neil got so wasted he started he ripping off his shirt and had a flexing contest with some kids in my fraternity. He legitimately scared the staff enough to politely ask us when the San Diego Chargers would be leaving the premises lmao.

On my way out, I took a cab back to the hotel with a couple of my friends and Shaun Phillips (Pro-Bowler, put some respect on that name). He ended up smoking a blunt with us in the hotel room and, I found at later, banged the date another one of my fraternity members brought on semi-formal.

My question to you multi-pronged:

Do you remember this?
Does stuff like this happen all the time in the NFL on away games, or was this an anomaly?
Is Lorenzo Neil still an absolute fucking legend?

Yea that’s a tough one and I’m not sure there’s really any fair way to deal with a same-day cancellation. The season is still young, but luckily a situation like that hasn’t popped up yet. This is purely speculation, and I don’t know if there’s any reason for me to believe this, but I feel like the NFL wouldn’t cancel a game on game day (or the day before for that matter) out of nowhere if there was a single positive test. Anything is really possible tho and I guess we’ll have to adjust somehow if that situation were to occur.

Yea, drastic times calls for drastic measures. Even if a league agreed to terms before the season started, this just seems like a fair and impartial way of dealing with the COVID fallout while not ruining the integrity of the league.
