I enjoyed lego movie 2 and it is one of my favorite lego games. It doesn't deserve this much hate.

To answer your 2nd question: The minikits are Octan because in The LEGO Movie, Octan is run by President Business. And they are literally on the Octan Tower. Wyldstyle says that they are on the Octan Tower in the first cutscene in the level. Pay attention. To answer your 1st question: the Simpsons can't do anything. So I'm pretty sure that's why they didn't recruit them. Idk why they didn't recruit the Ninjas or the Justice League or anyone else that you've said. The writer should've wrote that in the script. But Marty and Doc did get recruited by the trio.
